Facebook Bug Made 14 Million Users' Private Posts Public

Facebook Bug Made 14 Million Users' Private Posts Public The social media giant revealed a software bug active from May 18 to May 27 changed users’ privacy settings without their knowledge. Usually, a post defaults to the user’s’ preselected privacy setting. The bug made their posts shared automatically with the public. While the posts were clearly marked as public, users often overlooked the setting. Facebook plans to notify the 14 million users who could have been affected. Starting today we are letting everyone affected know and asking them to review any posts they made during that time. We'd like to apologize for this mistake.
